Domain Name Registration
Domain names are used in URLs to identify specific web pages. For example, in the URL http://www.homecraftedsite.com/index.html, the domain name is homecraftedsite.com.
Every domain name has a suffix that indicates which top level domain (TLD) it belongs to such as com, net, us, info,...
When choosing your domain name here are some things to consider:
- Names can include only alphabetic letters, numbers, or the hyphen ("-").
- No blank spaces or special characters are allowed.
- Names may have no more than 67 characters, including .com .net or .org.
- The first and last characters in a name must be alphanumeric.
- Cannot begin or end with a hyphen.
- Domain names are not case sensitive.
